Bonita Springs is Centrally Located

If you’re travelling to your Bonita Springs vacation rental from another state, Southwest Florida international Airport is going to be your best option. It’s about a 20-30-minute drive to Bonita Springs, depending on traffic. From the airport, there are a variety of ways to get to the area.

Pick a Royal Shell property as your destination in Bonita Springs:

The Southwest Florida region and Bonita Springs are one of the most family-friendly cities to visit. There are a variety of parks, restaurant, shopping centers, historical attraction, nature hikes and water sport activities available. The entire family is sure to be able to find something to keep them all entertained.

One way to get to Bonita Springs is to drive through the picturesque downtown center via Old U.S. 41. It looks like it went back in time and it has a real community vibe. Local artists have recently begun painting murals that represent the area’s history on various buildings. It truly is a charming and eclectic small town.

There are a few different ways to get to Bonita Springs. One of the main thoroughfares is Bonita Beach Road. Known as exit 116 off I-75, it’ll take you past the Imperial Parkway, U.S. 41 and Old U.S. 41. These are all main roadways in Bonita Springs. Bonita Beach Boulevard will take you to Fort Myers Beach, but it is still considered Bonita Springs up until about Lovers Key State Park.

Navigating Downtown Bonita Springs

Most of downtown Bonita Springs and the historic district are located off of Old U.S. 41. East Terry Street also passes through downtown Bonita Springs. If you’re looking for an enjoyable and leisurely bike ride through the city, downtown is also pretty bike-friendly.

In addition to biking along Old U.S. 41, it is also small enough to walk to the handful of shops and restaurants along the Old U.S. 41 corridor near Riverside Park and Everglades Wonder Gardens.
